|Moving Class to Hefei Meidi Refrigerator Industrial Park|
On April 6, the International Affairs Office of the School of Public Affairs organized a moving class for international students to Hefei Meidi Refrigerator Industrial Park. This activity was led by LIU Yinghua, director of International Affairs Office, and TIAN Yu, director assistant of International Affairs Office. The participating students were mainly from the ¡°One Belt One Road¡± associated countries.
Hefei Meidi Refrigerator company belongs to Meidi Group, which develops and manufactures refrigerators and related refrigeration products and is also one of the largest refrigerators production and export base in China.
During the visit, Mr. ZHANG Shiguo, head of the intellectual property department of the users¡¯ product center, guided the PAS group to the refrigerator series products, the refrigerator control monitoring room, etc. The advanced assembly line and the orderly management system amazed the international students, who felt the unique charm of China's manufacturing industry and the power of technology to shape the future.
Then Mr. DU Fangyuan, export project manager, introduced Meidi¡¯s development process, product development, business model, product influence, the international market distribution and the development of the Chinese brand electrical appliances industry status. The whole audience listened attentively and communicated with Mr. DU on issues like international market planning and green smart appliances.
The moving class series of activities is one of PAS's outstanding teaching methods, which combines theory and practice, aiming to help international students to acquire in-class knowledge and extend their horizons of Chinese culture.
